I went to see Seoul Assiteji Hap with my child today! My second-grader had so much fun and laughed out loud. The show was so enjoyable that it presented a potentially heavy topic of plastic waste and the environment in a fun way, allowing me to enjoy it from beginning to end without any pressure. There was also a chance to participate on stage, so I went up on stage. Especially, the part where they picked up plastic waste at the end was so meaningful because many friends came together, and I think it was even better. My child said he would like to see this kind of show again^^ I recommend it!
From the moment the children appeared, they were immersed in the comical performance with squeaks and burst out laughing here and there. At first, I was amazed by the children's laughter. But gradually, I became more and more absorbed in juggling, and it was a meaningful performance that made a topic that seemed difficult fun and suitable for the children's level. I also liked the time when the children participated here and there.
It's so much fun to play with just plastic bottles and vinyl. I think it would be fun to try this at home too.
My kids, even though they're older, said they really enjoyed juggling. The preschoolers were laughing and giggling.
Even with minimal props and modest lighting and sound, this show is enjoyable enough. It's a truly harmless, organic performance. Everyone can enjoy it without having to fill the stage too tightly.
The kids also participated on stage, and I also stood there holding a plastic bag in a daze.
There is no child who does not know about the climate crisis and they all know what to do, but if you think that the message is too repetitive and cliché, then watch it today with a smile and enjoyment.
Couldn't the meaning have been conveyed in a more unique way?
